One of my favorite themes is dealing with images of discarded objects found in the American landscape. I enjoy creating the realistic illusion of texture, light, and space while interpreting everyday subjects that everyone can relate to. In a way these paintings give new life and an unintended use to objects that have outlived their original purpose.
